P4
A) Lighting -
B) Suitability for camera shots, angles and movements -
We have made our scene able to deconstruct to allow easier access for the animators to move the models and the set-piece around. It also means we can get more interesting camera angles.
Here is the setup of the lighting and camera. As you can see the scene is elevated, meaning it is much easier for the animators to interact with the set. The tripod for the camera can also be moved left and right, meaning its quite easy to move the camera.
D) Mise en scène -
To make the scene more realistic and more of a "lived in" environment, we made bookshelves and a fireplace. The bookshelves contained many different props such as books, a hat, a trophy, a plant, and an umbrella. These little props make the scene feel much more alive, and like an actual home.
E) Technical Effect -
Our technical effect is an LED light behind the "sun". This is for when the camera pans to the sky, and means the sun looks more like it emits light.
Our functional prop is a book, as it falls off a shelf and hits him on the head. He also interacts with the carpet when he slips on it.
